Ghostly Calls From Metrolink Crash Victim
In a story seemingly straight out of "The Twilight Zone," this real life TV news piece describes how one family received numerous phone calls from a loved one trapped in the wreckage of the recent train crash in Southern California. During a 5-hour period approximately 3 dozen phone calls were made from the man's cell phone to his fiance and various family members, but only static could be heard. When the man's body was eventually found in the front car of the Metrolink train, it was apparent that he had died upon impact.

On the Amityville Truth Board - www.amityvillefaq.com/truthboard - some discussion has taken place over the possible identity of this man. He was present inside the house during the paranormal investigations of March 6, 1976. On the History's Mysteries documentary he is identified as Paul Hoffman, but here George Lutz doesn't seem to know his name. So it seems it is not Paul Hoffman after all, ...

Part 3 of 3. You know the story. A year after a Long Island family was butchered as they slept (by the eldest son), a newly-married couple buys the house and moves in with their young family, not knowing that a horrifying supernatural presence awaits them. Sounds like a cool plot for a movie, but this supposedly really happened. Did the haunting really take place, or was it a hoax? This special...

More than 4 bottles of wine? Sheesh
1974 not 1975
All a hoax..ron defae from jail confessed they made up the story for money
The parents were into the occult and I’m sure bought the house on purpose because of the murders. I’m a firm believer of ghost stuff but I didn’t buy their stories. You also can’t rely on the kids who were impressionable and 5, 7, and 10 I think. They would believe anything. Nobody else experienced anything since in that house. So either they conjured up a demon or lied. The father said they didn’t believe in paranormal but I read they were into it big time so that right there he lied.
Damn good drugs in 1979 haha jk. I would have casted them out in the name of Jesus Christ.
Thank you🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
When the murders happened the house should have torn down and the property seized by the township.
Mancuso, commarato's,lutz, defeo, quarantino lisa di deio or whatever her name is ( reporter ) crazy how many Italian surnames are linked to this house!
You can't win in that house, the lutz are targeted my supernatural forces, the commarato's targated by human forces. I do love that house but not 100 percent id live in it!
Hahaha! It's funny to see the two Georges together! Organic and artificial George! Brolin looks ginormous next to organic George! Dan from Shriek Previews podcast.
Both Kathy and George passed a lie detector test. They left all there belonging when they left. Something weird happened and I would not spend the night there.
Whether or not they’re lying about their experiences for $$, I do believe most incidents at the house could be explained rationally. The vibe would have been off due to the recent murders, but nothing unusual has happened there since the Lutzs
I wonder what eating Christmas dinner in that place is like
It was 1974 not 1975.
I lived in long island when I was 16, in bayshore to be exact. My cousins and I decided to drive by the house at night. Let me tell you this, there was an old lady on the road, she was pale white, with no expression, with a white gown. One of cousins was freezing cold (it was summer 2008) Just that scared us and we never went back, not even during the day !!!
Really? creepy
The empty, though rocking ,chair, creeped me out!
I did not live in a haunted house, but next to, not on a people's cemetary. No problems, day or night, including Halloween!
The guy putting the body in the coroner's car in the original "The Amityville Horror" also looks like Mr. Lutz!
Jay Anson also wrote "666" about a haunted house. He died March 12, 1980. Ronald DeFeo, the killer, would die March 12, 2021. Strange coincidence about the month and date of the deaths? Strange.
How about the Lutzes souls?!
I’m ever watching this in 1979 I was 12 years years old living in San Jose California and I remember being scared because we had a big two-story house on a cul-de-sac and I’m back in the day in the 70s when it was like awesome you know the block parties the pool parties I just remember watching this and being scared to get out of my bed. Something might grab me by the ankles at night so I would jump way out of my bed onto the carpet for fear somebody grabbing my ankles and pulling me into the bed you know how kids are when you’re little yeah, I’ve remember watching this and with Leonard Nimoy the guy from Star Trek and I got totally freaked out 😱😱😱😱
I have no doubts that this isn’t a hoax , I come back to this all the time - we will never know the truth exactly but there’s something there
The Movie, Just Like The Book, Speaks For Itself. A Room Not Noted On Any Blueprints, Was Discovered. An Unknown Force Rips The Door Off Its Hinges, From The Inside. UNEXPLAINABLE.
Dear god that man is huge
They made up the story for book and movie deals. Some things they copied from or got ideas from the movie "Burnt Offerings."
I believe that they went through this. Although I wish they would interview the kids who went through it because they know if it really happened. The only people who were skeptical from what I heard or saw in interviews were the third parties to this this event. From what I've heard and seen from the interviews and shows, again, it seems only the third parties to this didn't believe, it. But the main family seems to be honest in what they experienced❗
There's a face on the wall to the left of Kathy, it looks like a plant maybe, but definitely a face
That's Incredible should be applied to Davidson's hair....
It was all bullshit. Lutzes made it up....the Defeo stuff is very real.
I remember watching this when it aired and it was creepy as F.
The Amityville Diet. 6:02
Ghosts and all that stuff isn't real. There are no true ghost stories. But I'm very thankful for any made up scary movie with the tagline "based on a true story" because I believed it when I was young and it was awesome to believe in this stuff at the time.
The new owners have changed those beautiful iconic quarter circle windows. It's almost sacrilegious!
Rate interview cheers
I REMEMBER WHEN THIS WAS NEW!!!!!! I was in Kindergarten or 1st Grade! My mom had the hardcover! I met George Lutz in person; I gave him the third degree---it happened but the book and the movie exaggerate things; George himself was into the occult so the Spirits are attached to George. It Is True that a lot of divorces occurred to people who bought the house. Hauntings are so elusive, you have to prove it for yourself; visit some haunted locations near you. Type "haunted locations near me" in Google and visit the places that come up; you'll have to experience ghosts for yourself
6 people, some of whom were children, died at that house due to the actions of a drugged up minor gangster who was the product of his family circumstances. The Lutz's were despicable scammers ... and as for the Warran's .... pfft!
There was never a red-eyed doll in the house, was there? I only know of the pig. That doll scared the absolute crap out of me and still does. 😮
I can see still souls are there in that villa
They just couldn't pay the mortgage and came up with a great moneymaking scheme.
Full of s. One of the biggest hoaxes ever perpetrated
Gringos are creepy
THE SLUTS WEAR 2 JUNKEYS TRYING TO MONEY TO GET HIGH
Bad rug dude
Totally couldn’t afford the mortgage and they got creative, but nobody else who’s owned it has experienced a thing .
the only scary thing about this is george lutz's abuse.
Jay Anson, as mentioned, died March 12, 1980. Ronald DeFeo, also, died March 12, 2021. Strange coincidence? Forty-one years later, the same day. Eerie!
Jesus H Christ! The bloody host stuffs it right up from the get-go! It was November, 197FOOOUUURRR when the DeFeos were murdered, ya foooool!
"The most haunted house in the world" as Lorraine Warren puts it actually turned out to be the most fictional house in the world as 99% of the movie never happened. The only thing that was real in the movie was the house and the Lutz's moving in and moving out of it after 28 days. As they say, all horror movies have a bad ending.
This story has been debunked so many times. It’s a fraud.
Great book, great movie. The fact that anyone still believes that this is real is laughably ridiculous. George Lutz has said it wasn’t real. The author of the book admitted that it was fiction. The truth is that the family bought a house they couldn’t afford and figured out how to make money off a story after foreclosure left them with no money and no home. It was really clever, to be honest. There are no ghosts. There are no demons. There are only people who are mentally ill or who are too unintelligent to find the real reason things happen around them.
